Pressing the Play/Pause button on the headphones when connected with usb-c cable will play/pause music on the mac just like if pressing the Mac's bulit-in media buttons. They show correctly in Apple > About This Mac > System Report > USB as 'Momentum 3' with vendor id etc. They work as expected when I boot the Macbook into Windows Bootcamp Using usb-c to usb-a cable with adapter (instead of C to C on Macbook pro) Sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext but this has instances Restarting system audio ( sudo pkill coreaudiod and/or sudo killall coreaudiod) Looking for them in Sound preferences > Output (not listed) and in Audio MIDI Setup app (no listed). Updating the headphones to latest firmware I've had other hifi usc-c-pluggable headphones on them before and they worked just fine out of the box. They function just fine except when using a usb-c cable on my Mac machines (10.14 and 10.13). Recently bought the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones.
